Published on the occasion of Reading & Writing at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, a carefully chosen group of 24 drawings and prints from 1991 to 2009 are presented, reflecting the profound influence of literature and poetry on Elizabeth Peyton’s work. In this publication contemporary works are interspersed with historic literature, philosophy, poetry, drawings, etchings, and paintings, selected by the artist.
